Decompression, Lifestyle Therapies & Weight Loss
BEMER stands for Bio-Electro-Magnetic-Energy-Regulation. BEMER is an FDA Class II cleared consumer medical device that, during an 8-minute session, sends a low-intensity pulsed electromagnetic field to the body in order to safely stimulate healthy muscles which temporarily enhances local blood flow, resulting in better disbursement of oxygen within the target tissues while supporting the elimination of CO2. Additional benefits from regular use of BEMER may include reduced stress, improved relaxation, optimized physical performance, enhanced muscle conditioning and physical fitness, and a better overall feeling of wellbeing.
Near & Far Infra-Red-Light Therapy is a process of emitting light wavelengths through the skin to stimulate your body's natural healing and regeneration processes. Red light therapy activates the “power plant” in your body’s cells called mitochondria. With more energy, other cells can do their work more efficiently, such as reducing inflammation, repairing tissue, boosting new cell growth, stimulating collagen production, reducing joint pain and stiffness and much more.
Shockwave: Myofascial Acoustic Compression Therapy (MyACT) is widely used in the treatment of acute and chronic pain in muscles, tendons and joints. It works by delivering focused shock waves directly to the specific area of the body experiencing pain. Research show that this exciting new therapy promotes natural healing for many orthopedic injuries without a costly and invasive surgery.
Whole Body Vibration: During traditional exercise, muscles contract 1-2 times per second as opposed to 30 contractions per second while using a vibration machine. WBV makes your body work harder and eventually, the muscles around the joints grow stronger. Over time, you’ll notice that your balance, coordination, posture, and flexibility have improved.
Spinal Decompression: is a traction type of therapy for relieving and eliminating lower back pain, leg pain, and neck and arm pain. It is a non-invasive treatment for acute or chronic back pain, radicular pain, and symptoms from herniated or degenerated discs and facet syndrome. The equipment gently separates the vertebrae surrounding the injured or damaged disc, creating a negative pressure which pulls the herniation back into place. It is a highly successful option for many who choose to hold off on or not have surgery for pain that is often associated with herniated, bulging discs, and spinal stenosis.
Chiropractic
Chiropractic care is the practice of using spinal alignment as part of a preventative wellness care plan or to alleviate a wide variety of physical ailments, including muscle strain, neck pain, back pain, migraines and headaches, chronic pain, carpal tunnel, pain due to injury or pregnancy, and much more. This is accomplished by adjusting the position of the spinal column to its proper shape, providing a non-invasive solution for pain relief. Your Chiropractor will use her hands or a small instrument to apply a controlled, sudden force to a spinal joint. The goal of this procedure is to improve spinal motion and improve your body's physical function.
